Since I got my R1S from the detailers with a full XPEL wrap plus ceramic coat. It has rained just once and here is what it looks like after the rain late last week:

The water beads are great!

Speaking of rain…as bad as the roads were, I felt very comfortable knowing that the R1S can handle deep waters. I must have hit flooded areas in my neighborhood that were at least a foot deep.

It was funny to see a Honda civic tailgate me on the road while I drove carefully in the rain. But as soon as I hit the flooded areas he had to back off and go around so he doesn’t stall his engine.

I forgot to ask:
  • How much was it?
  • How long did it take?
  • Anything you would recommend in the process?

It cost me about $6500 and it took 6 days to get completed. Only recommendation would be to make sure you get it done by someone reliable and you know does a clean and near job
