I've owned Tesla for over 3 years now; the model X and model 3. They're both great vehicles but ever since I got the Rivian, it's been different.
Was like I was just driving an EV for the first time. Software, charging, range, interior, camping, modes, etc. It's been a great vehicle all around.
Sure I've had one or two issues here and there but generally, it's been an awesome 4 months of ownership.
What can Rivian do better?
In terms of SC appointments, they can certainly improve on their waiting time for customers. Also, their software updates should be able to fix majority of the bugs owners encounter on a daily basis. Some owners do complain that after an update, their car seems to generate an issue which isn't supposed to be so. Lastly, the child lock feature should be looked into. I'd really love for Rivian to work on that as it'd help a lot.
Asides these, it's been a wonderful journey so far and I can't wait to make it to one year of amazing adventures!
