Rivian R1T Rear Dampener Replaced: Not My Best Rivian Experience

Just last month, I dropped off my R1T off at the service center for a winter tire replacement and the SC called back to say that I will need rear dampeners replaced on both sides. Unfortunately, I am at a total of 63k miles, which is past the warranty of 60k miles - passed last month. They quoted me for $4000 for replacement of both rear dampeners. So it left me wondering if I have any recourse, being so close to warranty or if I'm just SOL. The SC did reached out to the regional manager to see if it could be covered under warranty and was 'denied'. I won't lie, it was really frustrating since cause it didn't seem like an issue that was caused by anything I did. I looked up some online articles, hoping to see if anyone has had a similar issue and could provide some guidance but unfortunately, I couldn't see any helpful article online. Eventually, I paid the $4000 to have my truck fixed. It was painful having to spend such a huge amount but I felt like I was left with no choice. Not my best Rivian experience so far but I guess it's all part of the learning process. Was extremely busy that period so I couldn't take pictures of my R1T. I'll ask the SC centre if they took any photos of the truck and share them on my page.

Anyone else have a knocking noise from the right or left rear of cabin? I took it to the service center and while the tech heard it on our drive, he was unable to make it re-appear after he "moved some things around". Translation: Didn't do much to address it.

I'm really bothered by the fact that the service centers don't have harsh enough rosds to test these vehicles on. I live on a dirt road. This noise is new and not only loud & annoying, but worrisome. Service rep said, the truck needs to break in. Ha! It's breaking all right.

I'm pretty close to disassembling the rear interior myself. A 2.5 hour drive to the service center with a crappy Enterprise loaner, just have have them give me the runaround is not fun prospect.
