Red Canyon R1T: Wished Rivian never discontinued it

Ever since the Red Canyon got discontinued by Rivian, I've always felt lucky to own my Canyon Red R1T. I did a waterless wash yesterday last weekend just for the fun of it lol. I then took some pictures to see if I could capture the wide dynamic range of the color.



I love the Canyon Red. I was scared at first because I had never owned a red vehicle. I never was able to see it in person before taking delivery and people on different forums always said that it was hard to describe how the color looked and that taking pictures did not do it justice. Red Canyon was the best decision I made and I try to do what I can to convey the color dynamism here.

The picture below of the area around the headlight does a good job of showing the dynamic range of the color, imo. If you go clockwise from the top of the picture, it goes from the almost orange at the top of the image and travels to the deep red that you get at some times of day.



I love the uniqueness of this color and I love driving it every time. (Just as a last point, I watched these images on a MacBook with retina display, so hopefully the colors get transferred well to other screens).
