I finally installed the latest 2024.51.01 update on my R1T. Coming from the 2024.43 update, I was particularly interested in the reverse throttle/brake mapping.
So installing the update took about 2 hours, even tho I was quite optimistic it wouldn't take more than 50 minutes.
After the installation, I noticed that the infotainment was MUCH more responsive and reverse felt slightly smoother too. I'm still observing other areas and by the end of this week, I'll do a report on other improved areas.
The only slight inconvenience so far is that it's certainly a little more clunky in transition from reverse to drive, but that I'm suspecting it might be an issue with my d/s drive unit and/or half shaft.
I lost Tidal artwork, but that generally comes back after a soft reset. After a week's drive, I'll do another report on the upgrade and update this thread.
