I have previously used the streaming capability back when it first came out as well as the hotspot since before Connect+ was a thing. I am trying to get the streaming working again but it seems to have been hidden fully behind the paywall. (Not looking to argue the merits of that system here) I recall after Connect+ came out being able to still use the Hotspot while tethering with my phone, and losing it isn't a big deal other than needing to update my wife's wifi, but I think I remember needing to be on the Hotspot to do casting. My question is, did Rivian remove both of these features to fully behind the connect+ paywall? I thought that if you used phone tethering or if you were connected to WIFI you could use most all of the usual streaming like features of the Rivian? If anyone can recommend how to stream while using tethering I'm sure myself and others without Connect+ would appreciate it.

The R1S door handles are a feature of modern innovative approach to automotive design in which the handle pops out when touched. This design is a combination of creative auto design and functionality. It operates on a keyless entry and enables R1S owners to unlock the doors simply by approaching the vehicle with the key fob or with the Rivian owners app on their smartphone. It gives the vehicle a great look. They are called "flush door handles."

The door handles sometimes might not be retracting (stuck) or might get broken; do not panic. You can easily inspect the areas around the handle for any hints that might be the cause of the dysfunction. The handle would feel loose due to a broken connection or a loose spring inside the handle assembly causing you to open up the door panel. When the screws are removed, you can gently pry off the panel to access the handle mechanisms. If it has a broken mechanism, a new door handle can be ordered from the Rivian Service Center or an authorized retailer.

However, if it has a loose handle, you would need to tighten the screws or connect the needed components and then reassemble the door panel at once. After completing the repairs, ensure the screws and clips are secure. Test the handle a few times to ensure it's smooth operation by closing and opening the door a few times.
