PSA on R1S Gen2 Failure When Reboot Won't Work and Door Handles Half Open

I have previously used the streaming capability back when it first came out as well as the hotspot since before Connect+ was a thing. I am trying to get the streaming working again but it seems to have been hidden fully behind the paywall. (Not looking to argue the merits of that system here) I recall after Connect+ came out being able to still use the Hotspot while tethering with my phone, and losing it isn't a big deal other than needing to update my wife's wifi, but I think I remember needing to be on the Hotspot to do casting. My question is, did Rivian remove both of these features to fully behind the connect+ paywall? I thought that if you used phone tethering or if you were connected to WIFI you could use most all of the usual streaming like features of the Rivian? If anyone can recommend how to stream while using tethering I'm sure myself and others without Connect+ would appreciate it.

TLDR if you R1S won't work or reset and door handle is stuck in a halfway position, get out and yank the handle hard until it's fully open.

I figured this out last weekend when I parked the R1S in a loading zone to unload a bunch of boxes, abs was thus running back and forth opening and closing the trunk and the truck automatically locking and unlocking. When I returned the final time the drivers side handles were only halfway out and the door wouldn't open. So I climbed in through the passenger side to the driver's seat, buckled and tried to shift to drive: no response. Screen not responding to anything either, just on and sitting.

Door button wouldn't work so I used the manual lever to open it and slam closed: no change. Infotainment reboot: no change. Full reboot: no change (would not even reboot). Full reboot 10 more tries with 60s holds: no change. After trying everything I could and to no avail, I reached out to Rivian on phone, so I could order a tow truck.

After the call, I got out and yanked on the driver's door handle as hard as I could- POOF! door opens, and everything went back to normal. Just want to share this experience in case others run into it you can jump to the solution.
