Why is there no gear tunnel for the R1S?

The gear tunnel is a tunnel-like feature that comes with the R1T. It runs from one end of the vehicle to the other and has doors on both sides. It can serve as a storage compartment for small bags and long gear, while its seats are strong enough for a human being to sit on and can also serve as a table too. The R1S doesn't have the gear tunnel, maybe because they felt there's no room to add such, but I'd have really loved to see how it'd look in the R1S. The gear tunnel is a first of its kind, and it's one unique feature of the R1T that has given it popularity because everyone can completely agree that it's super cool. Don't think we'll get to see the gear tunnel in the R1S or even the R2 or R3, but I hope someday Rivian could look for a way to maybe come up with something similar, if not the same, for their SUV owners, because I know a lot of us would really fancy such an addition.
