I do a lot of tinkering away at various things in my garage (detailing car, 3d printing, etc) it’s my own personal space. So I created this dashboard display that would show me information about my Rivian. I also preferred having the display in the garage for me to be able to look at.

I think it's nice to glance over occasionally and see cool nerdy stuff like the chargers handle temp, what state of charge the truck is at, what the charge rate is (instead of having to look at the Rivian app or my phone at all), and it will also give me an alert of a new software update, etc

But that’s the beauty of it. You can choose to put the display anywhere you want! The garage, the entry hallway, mud room, bedroom, etc

For the setup, it’s an Amazon Echo Hub. All I did was use the built in web browser to open my home assistant dashboard. And I added an iframe into my dashboard from GitLab. That iframe will prevent the Echo Hub from timing out the browser so it will keep the home assistant dashboard running 24/7.

And then I obviously created the home assistant dashboard that’s displayed. Sorry if this was a horrible explanation. I’m terrible at explaining things.
