I've always been curious if the mileage range estimate on the driver's display change based on driving history at a given % battery charge? For example, at 100% or 70% charge, is it always the same number or is it influenced by driving history? In my 2nd Gen R1S, the mileage estimate in the driver's display is always the same, 369 miles at 100% charge. I believe this is not the case for the 1st Gen R1S.
From what I have read - the driver display range estimate is an indicator of the general health of the battery. If your (displayed mile range / % range) x 100 is equal or very close to your original range when you bought it - then battery health is 100%. As battery degrades, that formula will start to show lower number and the battery degradation is (that result above / your original range) x 100. I am only a few months into Gen2 ownership, battery health is 100% - as it should be. This is maiy just out of curiosity.
