Ever since my Rivian R1S got the 2025.10.30 update, my Alexa has been working fine until 2 days ago when I noticed that ny Alexa’s voice is super quiet. The chimes are fine, but I have to crank the volume to hear her, which makes the music way too loud. I tried a soft reset, logging out and back into Alexa, and even a hard reset, but nothing fixed it.
I’m waiting for the next software update to see if it resolves this issue. Alexa’s chime volume follows the Alexa volume setting, but her voice is oddly tied to the music volume now. If I turn up the music volume to hear Alexa clearly, the music gets way too loud.
I want to believe that this is just a software bug and I’m hoping the next software update will tie Alexa’s voice back to the Alexa volume control where it belongs. Has anyone else run into this issue recently?
