I’ve always been very sensitive to repetitive noises like rattles in my Rivian, and that dash speaker grill has been giving me some headache for a while. I know some owners have no issues, but for me, it was loud and annoying. I didn’t want to bother myself with the service center since wait times are long and others said their fixes didn’t work.

So, I figured out a quick, cheap solution to stop the rattling and wanted to share it with other Rivian owners who might be dealing with the same problem.

My fix was super simple. I rolled up some black felt and tucked it between the windshield and the back of the speaker grill—it blends in nicely and doesn’t stand out.

Then, I placed a strip of felt along the front of the grill, right where it meets the leather dash. This completely stopped the rattling for me. It’s an easy DIY trick that works great, and I hope it helps other owners quiet their Rivian's too.
