I’ve read a lot of service horror stories with regards to owners experience at different Rivian SC and I thought I’d share my recent very positive experience. I had some slight wind noise issues recently and I noticed it happens when I'm on highway speed and a rear passenger door that was more difficult to close than the others.
There was some scheduled maintenance due and I decided to tell them all of the minor gripes I had. They took time to document and validate all of the issues via the mobile app which was all pretty straight forward.
They offered to give me an ICE loaner which I didn't accept cause I had a second vehicle I could use, but other than that everything was great. Good communication during the service via the app and I was impressed with the dramatic reduction of cabin noise on the highway.
In retrospect the highway wind noise was quite significant as it’s now quieter than before, which is a nice place to be for long highway rides. They also replaced the cladding and moulding for both driver and passenger side front triangles in the door and reseated and sealed the windshield.
There's a post on Trailrivian about a quick fix for wind noise. It's a good post but given my recent experience at the SC, I'll advice anyone with wind noise in either the front doors or above the windshield to get this fixed at any SC in your city. It's an experience I don't think you'd regret.
